The year 2018 was certainly a year of experiences, of personal growth, special family moments, some breakthroughs as well as a year during which some powerful memories were created. I look back, and the one word that fills my heart is thankful. I am thankful for all that I have been given, and for the promise of what is to come. It is always bittersweet to say goodbye to one year; but then again, I am excited about what this new year has to offer, about the new adventures that await, and about sharing my journey as I go!
For me, of the utmost importance, this coming year is spending time with my friends and family. The days just race by, and I want to cherish every moment. I also am going to be more conscientious when it comes to putting God in everything that I do. I hope to lead by example and ensure that my actions reflect the strength of my spirituality. In 2019, I will strive even more to give back. The world needs our help, our talents. It needs our time and our positive energy. We cannot ignore its call.
I will take risks, and even if I stumble, I will embrace such mistakes as valuable lessons learned. I will also leave myself open to new experiences and ideas and see where these adventurous new circumstances take me. I hope that in this new year, I will in some ways be a braver version of myself, never holding back, unafraid to express who I am and actively participate in my life, more so than ever before. I wish to nurture and honor my existing relationships and build new ones with people who inspire and excite me.
I want to make a difference this year—however small it may be, I want to have some meaningful impact on the world around me. These are just some of the things I hope to do-from the lofty to the humble; I am going to do everything I can to make this an incredible year.

A wind at our backs,
A thrill of hope.
Be the miracle we’re waiting for,
The healing we need,
And the promise He keeps.
For our God is forever faithful.
