It is no secret that we live in a time where people praise the world’s standard of perfection. These days, if you don’t have the voice of Beyonce and Rihanna, the wealth and success of Jeff Bezos, you are a failure in what you do.

Our Instagram feeds, and Facebook pages are only “successful” when perfectly filled with likes, hearts, friends, and comments.

The world’s standard of perfection is shallow at best, and you know what, I will never be able to achieve it. I will never be able, in all my might and power, to have what the world calls “perfect.” And even if by some miracle I do achieve their perfection, tomorrow they will have a new standard, and I will have to start all over again!

Trying to achieve the world’s standard of perfection will leave you empty, striving, anxious, and miserable.

BUT GOD!
The amazing thing about our God is that this perfect, unchanging Savior uses imperfect people like you and me to accomplish His perfect will!

He can use us, imperfections and all, to accomplish His will, His way.

Stop striving for an unattainable perfection that you will never reach, and tune in to the voice of your Heavenly Redeemer that says, His grace is all you need, and that His power works best in your weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9) NLT
