And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Today, I want to encourage you to do whatever God leads you to do. You may not have all the answers, and you may not know every step to take, but by faith, you can take the first step. Maybe that step is:
– Applying for a class at your local community college
– Forgiving the person you’ve held a grudge against
– Going to church for the first time in years
– Spend time in God’s Word
– Making an appointment with a nutritionist
– Going to the gymnasium
– Sending out a résumé
– Calling an adoption agency
– Praying a bold prayer, asking God for what seems impossible
You’ve waited, grieved, or made excuses long enough. Now it’s time to believe. Take a step and watch what God can do!
All in all, do not be scared to fail when taking this step of faith! I see this step of faith like the case of a toddler taking his first steps. You can be sure that those steps won’t be smooth. There will be some wobbling here and there, but that wouldn’t stop the child from mastering those steps. Pray to God to help you take that step of faith today, and do what He has placed in your heart to do. God is greater than all your fears and worries; you can be sure of that. Put your trust in Him, for He won’t fail!
